STERLING – JOANN Fabrics and Craft is closing more than two dozen stores in Illinois. That includes locations in Peru, Freeport, and Sterling. The closures come after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month. JOANN announced that they are filing a motion seeking court authority to begin closing 500 stores nationwide.
