NEW YORK — A future Hall of Famer is experiencing something for the first time in his NFL career. Aaron Rodgers is now a free agent. The Jets made the decision to release Rodgers after the official start of the new league year. The Green and White will carry a cap charge of 23.5-million-dollars until June 1st, but will receive 9.5-million-dollars in cap relief after that date. Rodgers is now free to sign with any team. The Giants and Steelers appear to be showing the most interest across the league.
