ROCKFALLS — An Illinois State Police trooper is hurt after a crash on I-88 in Whiteside County. Authorities say a vehicle slid off the roadway and hit the trooper’s squad car on Monday. The trooper was inside of the squad car at the time of the crash and suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Charges could be pending in that case.
