GENOA – A mobile team from the Illinois Tollway will visit Genoa this afternoon to help residents switch from plastic transponders to new sticker technology during an IPASS on Demand event. The event runs from 3 to 7 p.m. at Genoa City Hall, 333 East 1st Street, and is co-hosted by State Senator Andrew Chesney and Mayor Jonathan Brust. Tollway staff will assist with account transfers, answer questions about IPASS and Pay by Plate issues, and ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Once activated, the sticker tags work on Illinois tollways and E-Z Pass roads in other states within 24 hours.
