Illinois will play Xavier in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Xavier beat Texas 86-80 Wednesday night in the play-in game for the NCAA Tournament.
They out scored Texas 47-33 in the second half.
The first round game for Illinois will be played Friday night in Milwaukee.
