SPRINGFIELD – Illinois’ gross domestic product for the last quarter of 2024 grew by 1.8%, falling below the national average of 2.4%, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. The report also revealed that personal income in the state rose by 4.2%, which is lower than the national increase of 4.6%.
