SPRINGFIELD – Governor JB Pritzker has designated April as Innovation and Technology Month, highlighting Illinois’ leadership in quantum science, STEM education, and workforce development. The state will celebrate World Quantum Day on April 14, with events at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology will host the Career Spark STEAM Expo on April 29-30, offering hands-on career experiences for eighth-grade students.
