Illinois 23 to Close for Railway Crossing Repairs in Waterman

WATERMAN  — Illinois 23 will be closed at the BNSF Railway crossing just south of U.S. 30 in Waterman beginning today for repairs, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. The closure is expected to last through June 14, with a detour directing drivers to use U.S. 30, Interstate 39, and U.S. 34.
