IDNR Seeks Public Help Tracking Wild Turkeys

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is asking residents to report wild turkey sightings now through August to help monitor population and reproduction trends. Volunteers can log observations of adults and young turkeys online or by mail. Recent data shows improved survival rates and nesting success statewide.
