Human Remains Found In Kewanee Identified As Man Reported Missing In 2022

KEWANEE–  Skeletal human remains found in Western Illinois have been identified as a missing man.  Daniel Cernovitch was reported missing in November 2022.  His family has been notified of the discovery of his body in Kewanee.  The Henry County Coroner says there was no evidence of intentional dismemberment.  An employee of the Park District discovered the remains last Wednesday at Northeast Park in Kewanee.
