Health Officials Confirm Two Cases Of Measles In Cook Co

CHICAGO –  State and local health officials are identifying two confirmed cases of the measles in Cook County.  One case was identified as an adult suburban Cook County resident, whose vaccination status is unknown.  The person went to a hospital for medical care on Monday and was quickly isolated.  The second case was identified in an adult Chicago resident who traveled internationally through O’Hare Airport early last month.  The person had one prior dose of the MMR vaccine.  The individual started getting a rash on April 25th and has been isolated at home since being diagnosed.
