DAVIS JUNCTION – The latest build for Habitat for Humanity of Ogle County is taking shape in Davis Junction, and they have announced a new fundraiser that could get you a designer handbag. The purse raffle will feature brands such as Lululemon, Kate Spade, and Michael Kors.
Sheri Anspaugh Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity of Ogle County, said there is a chance you could win more than just a purse.
“The really fun thing we’re doing is one of those purses is our Mystery Purse, which will actually be stuffed with all types of other winnings that will be in there, including gift cards, we have jewelry, we have just lotions and all kinds of fun things.”
The drawing will take place on May 10th during the Mother’s Day Crawl in Byron. Tickets are available through the Habitat website HabitatOgleCounty.org
The organization’s 15th home build just recently had the foundation and basement poured, with construction expected to continue over the summer into the fall.
