Grants to Aid Communities in Finalizing Lead Service Line Inventories

SPRINGFIELD – Illinois Environmental Protection Agency announced the recipients of the fourth round of Lead Service Line Inventory grants, which will assist 15 additional community water supplies, including DeKalb and Sublette. The grants will help with the Lead Service Line Replacement and Notification Act. DeKalb will receive $50,000 and Sublette $30,000. To date in state fiscal year 2025, the Illinois EPA has funded 15 projects for a total of $527,737.
