CHICAGO – Republican candidate for Illinois Governor Darren Bailey is extending an apology to the city of Chicago. He spoke today before the City Council in downtown Chicago. Bailey said that he regretted calling the city a hellhole during his previous campaign. He mentioned that he recently moved to Chicago as he prepares for November’s general election against Democratic incumbent JB Pritzker.
