Galena Police Officer Accused Of Having Child Porn

GALENA —  A Galena Police police officer is accused of having child porn.  Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul charged 23-year-old Eli Barthel of Freeport in Stephenson County Circuit Court with two counts of child sexual assault material possession and child sexual assault material possession.  Barthel was arrested last Friday after investigators searched his home in Freeport and discovered evidence of child sexual abuse material.
