Fritts to Host Prescription Drug Drop Off Event in Rochelle

ROCHELLE — State Rep. Bradley Fritts will host a prescription drug drop off event July 16th from 9 to 11 a.m. in the parking lot of the Ogle County Services Building at 510 Lincoln Highway in Rochelle. The event is intended to help residents safely dispose of unwanted or expired medications. Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles and follow marked lanes for safety. Accepted items include tablets, capsules, patches, vaping devices and cartridges with lithium batteries removed, and pet medications. Liquids, syringes, and needles will not be accepted. The event is being held in partnership with the Ogle County Health Department and the Rochelle Police Department.
