OREGON – Free oak and pecan tree saplings will be available to Ogle County residents on Saturday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. during the recycling event at 909 Pines Road in Oregon. Oak varieties include Burr, Swamp White, and Red. There is no charge, with a limit of 10 saplings per household or what can reasonably be planted. A standby list will be available for any extras.
