Forreston FFA Tractor and Truck Pull Set for Leaf River

LEAF RIVER — The Forreston FFA Tractor and Truck Pull will be Saturday behind the Old Leaf River School as the kickoff to the summer pulling season, with events beginning at 10 a.m. Admission is $10 and includes a wristband for reentry, with children 5 and under free. Organizers say the event brings together hobby and professional pullers as part of Leaf River Days, with food vendors and children’s activities also planned. Forreston FFA Alumni member Josh Bolen said, “A lot of pulls haven’t gotten started. A lot of guys are looking to get things out to the track and see what improvements or adjustments they’ve made over the wintertime, see how if things are going to hold together or not.” He also said, “What we want to encourage as is if you have a tractor or truck stock tuned up a little bit, we want you to come on out and pull.” All proceeds support the Forreston FFA chapter.
