Former Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews plans to make his NHL comeback with his hometown Winnipeg Jets. The 37-year-old forward can’t officially sign the contract until July 1st.
Toews spent 15 seasons with the Hawks. He spent the last two years out of hockey after suffering long-term COVID.
The proposed one-year contract will have a low salary and several performance bonuses.
