Flagg Township Museum to Host Memorial Day Program on WWII Weapons

ROCHELLE — The Flagg Township Museum will present a Memorial Day History Program titled “The Weapons of the Other Guys” today, at 1 PM. The program features Robert Barger’s personal collection of World War II armaments, offering a look at the weapons used by opposing forces and the historical impact of their differences and similarities. Barger’s large exhibit will be on display during the event, and light refreshments will be served. Visitors can also access digital records at the museum’s research station, including veteran burial lists and resources from the Veterans History Project to support the sharing of personal stories.
