ROCHELLE — The Flagg Township Museum will hold a bench dedication ceremony at 1 p.m. Aug. 30 honoring longtime volunteer Steve Strang. The bench was made possible through a museum donor and the Rochelle Golden K Kiwanis Club’s Bottle Caps to Benches program. Strang volunteered for many museum and community events, helped preserve local history and donated artifacts and historical information to the museum. The bench will serve as a lasting tribute to his years of service and support. Community members are invited to attend the ceremony and bring bottle caps for the Kiwanis club’s bench program.
