(Southampton, NY) — Another major is up for grabs with the arrival of the US Open which begins on Thursday.
JJ Spaun won last year’s tournament after finishing atop the leaderboard by two strokes at one under par. The 35-year-old will be alongside Scottie Scheffler and amateur Mason Howell for the first two rounds.
This year’s U.S. Open Championship is being played at Shinnecock Hills in Southhampton, New York.
The winner takes home a first prize check that totals 4.3 million dollars.
