POLO – A 21-year-old Byron man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in rural Ogle County. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene near the intersection of Judson Road and Union Road in rural Polo around 7 AM. Investigators determined that a vehicle traveling southbound on Union Road failed to stop at the intersection with Judson Road, lost control, and overturned multiple times in a nearby ditch for unknown reasons. The driver, Logan Linker of Byron, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
