Easter Eggstravaganza Returns to Cooper Park in Rochelle

ROCHELLE – The annual Easter Eggstravaganza will take place at Cooper Park in Rochelle on April 19th starting at 11 AM. The event, presented by the City of Rochelle, Rochelle Community Hospital, 102.3 The Coyote, and SuperHits 93.5, is open to children ages 0-10, as well as those with disabilities. Participants will be divided into two age groups, 0-5 and 6-10, with a special area for children with disabilities starting at 10:45 a.m. The event includes an egg scramble with over 8,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes, a free photo with the Easter Bunny courtesy of Erin Bacon of Destiny Studios, and a chance to meet Cinderella. The event is free to attend and will take place rain or shine. The Hub City Senior Center and Liberty Village of Rochelle assisted with stuffing the eggs for the hunt.
