KINGS – Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries around 6:15 p.m. Sunday at Linn Street and 2nd Street in Kings. A Toyota Camry was turning onto 2nd Street from westbound Linn Street when it was hit from behind by a westbound Honda Accord driven by a 19-year-old Rockton man. The Toyota stopped on the south side of the road, and the Honda came to rest on the north side. The Honda driver was taken to Rochelle Community Hospital with minor injuries and cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Deputies were assisted by Rochelle EMS, Oregon Fire Department, and Stillman Valley Fire Department. The crash is under investigation.
