DIXON – Dixon Police have arrested an 18-year-old for reckless discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of firearm ammunition after a shooting was reported early on Monday. Officers responded to a call about shots allegedly fired in a field near Tilton Park Drive around 4:25 a.m., where multiple witnesses reported hearing gunshots. During the investigation, Kairyn Lottman of Dixon was located in the area, and both the Dixon Police Department and Lee County Sheriff’s Department used K-9 units to search for evidence. Lottman was arrested and taken to the Dixon Police Department for processing.
