SUBLETTE – Last month Lee County dispatchers in Dixon helped a father deliver a baby in distress during a 911 call. The newborn had the umbilical cord around its neck, but dispatchers guided the father through removing it before responders arrived. Sublette EMS, SFPD, and Advance EMS crews assisted with the delivery and took the mother and baby to CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Those involved received “Stork Pins” for their lifesaving actions.
