DeKalb Native Bryan Klatt To Lead Elks Convention In Chicago

DEKALB,. — DeKalb native Bryan Klatt will preside over the 161st National Convention of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks July 5 to 8, 2026, in Chicago during a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Elks National Memorial and Headquarters Building. The event is expected to draw more than 9,000 delegates and guests from across the United States and abroad and will be based at the Hilton Chicago with events at McCormick Place. Klatt is a DeKalb High School and Northern Illinois University graduate and has served in multiple national leadership roles within the Elks organization, including Grand Secretary and Grand Exalted Ruler.
