DeKalb Man Charged With Fifteen Felony Counts in Child Pornography Case

DEKALB – A 42-year-old DeKalb man was arrested and charged with 15 Class X felony counts of dissemination of child pornography following an investigation that began with a referral from the Algonquin Police Department. Authorities say Curtis D. Fisher allegedly shared about 2,000 files online, more than 1,000 of which contained child sexual abuse material earlier this year. A subpoena linked the content to an internet account at Fisher’s residence in the 500 block of E. Taylor Street. A search warrant was executed in March. Fisher is being held in the DeKalb County Jail pending a pretrial release hearing.
