OREGON — A DeKalb man was arrested Sunday evening after allegedly fleeing from deputies and nearly causing a crash on Illinois Route 64. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office said 25-year-old Mario Lazaro Rodriguez was charged with aggravated DUI, aggravated fleeing to elude, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving without a license. He was also cited for multiple traffic violations, including reckless driving, speeding more than 35 mph, improper passing, and driving an uninsured vehicle. Rodriguez was taken to the Ogle County Jail and later released on a notice to appear in court.
