KIRKLAND — Potawatomi Woods Forest Preserve will host a Prairie Habitat event on June 25th from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Visitors can observe birds, bees, and snakes and learn about the creatures that inhabit the prairie ecosystem. In the case of a weather cancellation, please check the DeKalb County Forest Preserve District’s Facebook page. Preserves are open daily—don’t wait for an event to discover something new!
