KIRKLAND — MacQueen Forest Preserve will remain open late on July 6 and 7 until 10 p.m. for the Don’t Glow Home Yet event. Participants can hike at night with a flashlight to observe fireflies and bioluminescence in the preserve. Please consult the DeKalb County Forest Preserve District’s Facebook page regarding potential weather cancellations. These natural areas are open daily to the public.
