DEKALB — DeKalb Cornfest is seeking volunteers this summer. There are roles for volunteers of all abilities, with some positions for those 18 and older. Sarah Meyers, Volunteer Program Coordinator for DeKalb Cornfest said that volunteers will receive a festival t-shirt.
“Our biggest need will be set up for Thursday and then Friday morning,” she said. “The Corn Boil on Saturday for that free corn. We need 20, 30 volunteers for that. That’s a big draw.”
DeKalb Cornfest will be August 22nd through the 24th. Those interested in volunteering can sign up in the next few weeks by emailing [email protected].
