Death Of Inmate At Winnebago County Jail Under Investigation

ROCKFORD –  Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at the Winnebago County Jail.  The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office says an inmate experienced a seizure early yesterday at the jail.  The inmate was sent to the hospital, where he died.  The Winnebago-Boone Investigative Cooperative was called in to complete an independent review.
