DAVIS JUNCTION – At its April 22 meeting, the Davis Junction Village Board approved three zoning-related ordinances. The first corrected a 2018 error that had mislabeled R1 and R2 residential districts in the village code, reversing their definitions to match the zoning map. The second updated the code to allow residential crop cultivation, such as vegetable gardens, in R3 zoning areas, aligning with a 2022 state law. The third approved the gateway subdivision plans for land near Illinois Route 72.
