DAVIS JUNCTION – Davis Junction approved several resolutions during their regular board meeting earlier this month, including the purchase of a new snowplow and lawnmower. A replacement snow plow blade will cost $6,762.02 from Bonnell Industries, Inc. to be equipped onto their 2021 Freightliner Plow Truck This will replace a damaged unit that cannot be repaired. The village also approved a quote from Bobcat of Rockford for a new lawnmower, at a cost of $9,261.72 after trade in. The mower will replace the current one. Additionally, the village approved the disposal of old equipment, including the damaged snowplow, a lawnmower, and a pressure washer. The board also ratified participation in a joint bid for purchasing 150 tons of rock salt for the 2025-2026 winter season.
