DAVIS JUNCTION – The Village of Davis Junction has moved forward with two major infrastructure projects following the approval of bids earlier this week. Fischer Excavating was awarded a $1.99 million contract for the Gateway Subdivision Infrastructure Improvement Project, while Stenstrom Construction Group received a $2.4 million contract for the Lot 1 Improvements Project. The Gateway project will install new drainage culverts, pavement markings and more. The Lot 1 project will involve new parking areas, sidewalks, utility work and a building. Both projects are part of the Rebuild Downtowns and Main Streets Capital Grant program.
