DAVIS JUNCTION – At the Davis Junction meeting earlier this month, the village board discussed the vandalism on Verizon’s fencing. The graffiti, featuring slang and possible song lyrics, has remained despite attempts to contact Verizon for its removal. The board is considering painting over it but is concerned it may reappear. Additionally, the board reviewed the near-final version of the LR Communications lease, which is expected to be sent to attorneys soon. The board hopes to approve the lease by the end of April.
