Creston Trustees Approve Partial Sidewalk Replacement Plan

CRESTON — Village trustees on Tuesday approved part of a proposed sidewalk replacement plan after hearing options from Matthew Hansen of Willett Hofmann. The full project was estimated at $342,800 and included work on East South Street, East Depot Street and North Main Street. Trustees approved $156,500 for improvements on East South Street and East Depot Street. The North Main Street segment was delayed. The board had previously set aside $150,000 in interest income earlier this year for sidewalk repairs. Hansen said they would get the project ready to bid for work this summer.
