Creston Approves Storm Sewer Project to Improve Drainage North of Tracks

CRESTON – The Village of Creston has approved a $290,734.80 bid from Martin & Co. of Oregon for the Storm Sewer North project.

Plans hang on the wall at the Creston Village Hall of the proposed new storm sewer project

The project, overseen by Civil Engineering Services, came within 8% of the engineer’s estimate.  The construction will install 800 feet of drainage through the village and is expected to begin within a month, lasting several weeks with an additional two weeks for cleanup. Village trustees unanimously approved the bid. The project, in planning for nearly two decades, is designed to improve storm water drainage north of the railroad tracks.
