SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County Community Foundation is accepting applications for spring 2026 Community Needs Grants and Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants from nonprofit and public sector organizations. The Community Needs Grants support capital needs for local organizations and provided $228,520 in funding last year for projects in DeKalb County. Applications for both grant programs are due by March 1 at 11:59 p.m. The Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund Grants support music education for nonprofit and public sector organizations across the greater Chicagoland area, with preference given to those serving DeKalb County residents, and provided $241,400 in funding last year.
