The White Sox lead the AL Central Division by a half game over Cleveland.
Brayan Rocchio’s 2 out, 2-run double won it for the Guardians.
Cleveland had 3 home runs in the game. Travis Bazzana went deep twice while Jo Adell also homered.
Grant Taylor took the loss in relief for Chicago. Miguel Vargas had a 2-run single and 3 RBI for the White Sox.
The rubber game in the series is Wednesday afternoon in Cleveland.
