ROCHELLE – Caron Road, from Kelly Drive to south of Creston Road/1st Avenue, will be closed through May 20th for construction work, including storm sewer reconstruction, concrete repairs, and resurfacing. The closure affects a stretch of about 1,000 feet. Creston Road, south of Dement Road, is also closed during this period. Truck traffic must detour via Illinois Route 251 to Veterans Parkway, with no trucks allowed on Kelly Drive, 1st Avenue, Creston Road, or 7th Avenue. All other traffic must use marked detours or alternate routes.
