Candlelight Vigil to Honor Deputy Christina Musil

SYCAMORE – A candlelight vigil will be held on Saturday, March 29th from 6 to 8 PM at the Sycamore Forest Preserve to honor Deputy Christina M. Musil on the one-year anniversary of her death in the line of duty. Musil, a 35-year-old deputy with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, was tragically killed when her parked patrol vehicle was struck by a truck in March 2024. The vigil will commemorate her service and sacrifice, with family, friends, and the community invited to attend the event at 955 E. State Street in Sycamore.
