Cancer Survivors Day Observed June 7

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Cancer Survivors Day is observed June 7th as a time for cancer survivors, family members, friends and medical professionals to come together to recognize survivorship and support. Organized by the National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation, the observance highlights milestones and acknowledges those who support people living with a history of cancer. According to the foundation, anyone living with a history of cancer, from the moment of diagnosis through the remainder of life, is honored as a survivor.
