BYRON — ByronFest will return to downtown Byron July 10 through July 12, 2026, bringing three days of music, family activities, and community events across multiple downtown venues along with additional programming at the Jarrett Prairie Center and the Byron Museum of History. The festival is organized by the Byron Chamber of Commerce to promote tourism, support local nonprofit groups, and showcase the community, and it has raised more than $850,000 for area organizations over the past 37 years.
Executive Director of the Byron Chamber Michelle Lorenz said that it’s an annual event that welcomes everyone back to Byron.
“ See your families, the businesses, volunteers, former residents coming back into town and see everyone enjoying the weekend of great fun, music, entertainment, and food,” Lorenz said.
Events begin Friday at 5 p.m. with opening activities including the carnival midway, Taste of ByronFest, beer gardens, a quilt show, and the start of live entertainment on both main stages. Saturday features a 5K run, car show, pickleball tournament, parade, children’s activities, and a full day of entertainment starting at noon. Sunday closes the weekend with family programming, food vendors, carnival rides, and afternoon performances.
