Byron Crafts Ordinance Prohibiting Permits When Resident Owes City Money

BYRON – The City of Byron passed a new ordinance last week that will encourage residents and property owners to pay any funds they owe to the city. The new rules will deny permits and licenses to any applicant if they owe money to the city, whether they owe for past due bills or fines and penalties or ordinance violations. The ordinance passed 7-0.
