OREGON – A blood drive is scheduled for Monday from 10 AM to 3 PM, hosted by the Rock River Valley Blood Center at the Rock River Center in Oregon. The center needs over 800 units weekly to support 14 hospitals in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Donors are encouraged to participate. Appointments are suggested, but walk-ins are welcome.
Maggie Anderson, Donor Recruiter with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said that donations are crucial to saving lives.
“Blood donations help to ensure that hospitals have what they need when they need to treat patients and emergencies and other critical situations,” she said. “Your donation today could be the one that makes all the difference for somebody in need.”
