ROCHELLE — The Rock River Valley Blood Center is hosting a blood drive today from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Rochelle Community Hospital, 900 N. 2nd St., Rochelle, IL 61068. Donors are invited to support the blood supply that serves 14 area hospitals and helps patients with surgeries, emergencies, and chronic conditions. Maggie Anderson, Donor Recruiter with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said that repeat donors help with health needs regionally.
“Consistent blood donation is critical to preventing shortages and ensuring hospitals can respond quickly to patient needs,” she said.
Appointments are encouraged; donors should bring a photo ID.
