Blagojevich Praises Trump After Receiving Full Pardon

CHICAGO —  Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is praising President Trump after receiving a full pardon.  Speaking outside his home last night, Blagojevich expressed his gratitude to the president.

“After 2,896 days in prison, nearly eight years, President Trump pulled me out of there, and now he did this,” he said. “And all I can tell you is that President Trump is a man who, when he sees things that are wrong, he rights them.”

The former Democratic governor declined to comment on rumors that he is being considered to become ambassador to Serbia.  He also didn’t discuss whether he might run for office again.
